Critiques

An important perspective, but lacking emotional connection

I has also homeschooled (Not to the fundamentalist degree that Tara was) and I knew a LOT of families just like hers. I really wish that her stories gave us insight into her emotions and perspectives more. Otherwise, this just reads like you're sitting down for coffee with a new friends who is barfing their horrible life story at you.

Review of 'Summary of Educated : A Memoir by Tara Westover' on 'Goodreads'

Very good book if you want to get really angry about some people you'll hopefully never meet.

It's amazing what some of the family achieved, and disgusting what others in the family were allowed to get away with.
